Regional economic impacts of bioenergy demand

Feasib carried out an extensive study for the Kaustinen region on the current state of the biogas market, demand potential and business conditions.

The results of the study provided the region with a concrete view of the demand for bioenergy, the factors affecting it and the market development prospects. The report provided a basis for investment planning.

Pyrolysis of wastewater treatment plant sludge and municipal biowaste into biochar

We conducted a technical and economic study on the pyrolysis of wastewater treatment plant sludge and municipal biowaste, biochar uses, biochar markets, production profitability, and future visions for wastewater sludge treatment, as well as alternative technologies.

The study examined wastewater treatment sludge and municipal biowaste generated in Kuusamo as raw materials for locally produced biochar.

CircLab R&D environment: a business plan

A business plan was prepared for CircLab, a demonstration environment for nutrient recycling and future technologies operating at the Iin Micropolis premises.

The plan identified potential customer types and considered revenue logics by customer type. Cost calculations were performed to support pricing.

Study of digestate utilization options

Feasib studied the utilization, processing options and markets of digestate generated in the Kaustinen region. The study evaluated various technical solutions for the further processing of digestate, of which a profitability analysis was prepared for a few selected ones.

In addition, the legislative restrictions were examined and a SWOT analysis was prepared for recycled fertilizers. The study also mapped the regional market potential of digestate and its development in the region.
